Mail with attached mail not syncing w/exchange properly

I've noticed that Entourage 2008 does not grab mail messages on my exchange
server that contain attachments that are other e-mails. I can see the
messages via webmail on a web browser, but I really need to get ALL of my
mail to Entourage. Any ideas of how to fix this behavior?

Hi Mark!

How do you currently connect to your Exchange Server? Are you using a
back-end server address or are you using a front-end OWA address? If
you're server is on the same network as your Mac (not a hosted solution)
then you should be using a back-end address for best performance and
results. Using an OWA connection from within the same network can cause
issues.

Do messages with other types of attachments come through?

I think I'm using a back-end server address. I'm not familiar with what an
OWA address is, so I will have to ask my IT person about that. Messages with
other attachments come through with no problems. In fact, I had a colleague
resend a previous e-mail that Entourage did not grab, but this time, they
removed the attachment that contained an e-mail message, and their message
showed up in Entourage just fine. It would be good to know if anyone else
can replicate this behavior.
