Main Identity files disappear

When I copy the Main Identity file (Office 2004) from computer A to
computer B (both are on Panther, connected by Ethernet cable), the
database etc. files disappear. What gives? How can I transfer these
files to computer B?

Look for the file permissions.
The user logged on other panther should laos have full permissions on this
file where it has to be copied.
