Amongst the many problems it causes, I have now discovered that Outlook 2002
ignores the setting not to send read receipts when it goes about the
business of marking all messages as read (i.e., selecting Edit|Mark All as
Read.) Of course, this renders Outlook completely useless for maintaining
privacy and reducing spam proliferation.
Is there a fix for this or should I just dump the buggy piece of garbage?
Probably have to write my own mail client to get one that isn't total ****.
