I'll guess at this one.
Select first sheet of 12.
Right-click on sheet tab and "select all sheets".
Format columns etc. on active(first) sheet.
What is done to that sheet will be done to all.
DO NOT FORGET to "ungroup" the sheets after completion of this operation.
Alternative.........
Open a new workbook. Delete all but one sheet.
Format as you wish.
File>Save As>File Type>MS Excel Template(*.xlt)
Save it as SHEET and store in your XLSTART folder.
This now becomes the default Insert>Worksheet.
