MAKE OFFICE 2003 LOOK AND FEEL LIKE OFFICE 2000

J

Jack Sprat

Add an option that will reset Office 2003 to look, feel, and operate as
though it is Office 2000. The office 2003 icons are the first thing I would
change. The ability to keep my toolbars together, not separated by the TO,
FROM lines is the 2nd. And I'm sure that as I continue to encounter
differences, I will wish there were no differences.

Well quit whining and reinstall 2000 then! Geez, I would have thought that
was obvious!

It sounds like you simply need to move one of your toolbars.

If one is located below the message header then place your mouse on
the left edge of the toolbar, watch for the Move mouse
pointer )multi-directional arrows), and drag/drop it to your preferred
location.

Note the ability to move your toolbars was present in Office 2000 as
well. Other than the addition of the Task Pane there really weren't
any major changes to the interface, such as your toolbars, menus, etc.
So if you do encounter other differences in the future it's more
likely you've discovered something that has been there all along
rather than a change to the application.
