Make selection move downward after deleting a message

Does any one know how to change the highlight selection to move
downward to the message below instead of selecting the message above
after deleting?

Very annoying to use down arrow key and hitting the delete button
again. I just want to hit delete and repeat that with other messages.

Greatly appreciate everyone help in advance.

Here are some keyboard shortcuts you can use. I'm not sure it's much easier
than the two keystroke method though. From Entourage Help:

OPTION+Command (Apple)+[ Delete the current message and display the
previous message.

OPTION+Command (Apple)+] Delete the current message and display the next
message.
