Manifest.xsf generates special characters like Ä‚

Hi,
I am generating the InfoPath form programatically. I am generating various
manifests and finally combining them into a single manifest. Everything
happens successfully, the final string made is perfect. But when I try to
open the resultant manifest in design mode, it gives me an error: A name
contains an invalid character.

On opening the manifest.xsf in a notepad, I found that the manifest contains
the Ä‚ charac ter at many places. I am not sure why this is happening.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, please try to encode the file in UTF-8.

Thanks for the prompt reply...
When I apply the UTF 8 encoding to the file, then only it produces special
characters. If I remove the encoding, everything generates fine.
Please help!!!
