I can't seem to find anything out there about this, so here goes:
I'm creating a site for a client that will allow admins to upload
powerpoints that will then be (via an app on the server) split out into
jpegs and have the notes and content stored in a MySQL database. Then,
users will be able to go to the site and pick and choose slides to
incorporate into a custom powerpoint that will then be generated for
them.
So far, we've got most of this working, however, the main problem is
that when we pull the notes out, we're not able to retain the
formatting (bullet points, bolded words) of the notes and content.
Are there special characters or something in Powerpoint that indicate
line breaks and list items and things of that nature? I think we
might have found a workaround for exporting with formatting, but
importing the content back into Powerpoint while keeping the formatting
seems impossible without knowing some special tricks.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
