Manually downloading new email

I find that sometimes if I hit the send and receive button several times nothing happens - ie no new email is downloaded.

If I change IMAP folders and do another send and receive suddenly new email arrives.

Why do this happen?

The Send & Receive button controls the Send & Receive All Schedule, which
may not include your IMAP account and/or folders. Go to Tools > Schedules >
Send & Receive All and make sure your IMAP account is configured there
correctly.

Pagemakers

The accounts were set to inbox "synchronize headers". I have changed this to inbox "All messages" so hopefully this will fix the problem.
