Manually moving animations during a presentation

I'm creating an interactive text for a university project and need to be able
to move objects around on the page manually with the mouse in a free sort of
way whilst the powerpoint is actually running.

I cant have the picture being animated in a fixed way, it has to be free
movement.

Does anyone know if this can be done? If so, how?
