manually update GAL in Entourage 08 / turn off cached mode?

Entourage does not cache GAL information. Every lookup is returned from
the server.

Can you be more specific about your "situation"? If users are getting
old information when they start to address a message, this could be the
Most Recently Used Addresses list. See

I think you are right about the MRU. So, if the user pulls up the
invalid user by starting to type the name, and presses the delete key,
this entry is removed from the MRU? Then, it is readded when it is
selected from the GAL.

No, it's a bit more convoluted than that - they need to add the contact
to their local address book and mark it as junk.

Then, it is readded when it is selected from the GAL.
