Marking a particular message "high importance"

I'm using Win XP Pro SP2 Outlook 2003 MOS 2003. I want to be able to mark
a particular message hi priority for the recipient. Is the only way to do
this to go on the OL toolbar to Tools>Options>Email Options>Advanced to the
pulldowns on Importance and Sensitivity. The problem with this is that this
seems to confer this setting on all mail. What would be more preferable
would be to have a button I could put on the toolbar that would mark a
*particular mail message high priority for that instance with one mouse
click, rather than have to go to the Advanced tab and set the preferance and
then to go back there and set the pulldown back to "normal" for the next
message.

Is it possible to do this some way, because it's cumbersome if going to the
Advanced button and setting and unsetting this is the only alternative.

Thanks much,

Chad Harris

Chad, open a new message and look for the Options button on the toolbar. If
you don't see it, look for Options on the View menu. That will take you to
the Message Options dialog box, where you'll see the Importance and
Sensitivity fields. The choices you make here will apply to the current
message only.

(I'm at an Outlook 2000 machine using Word as my e-mail editor right now, so
my menus and toolbars may be different from yours, but look for Options
somewhere in the message window. It's there somewhere.)

Thanks for the prompt help! That does the trick. Interestingly, you
can't find it from Tools>Options or View but there is a separate "Options"
button on the new message toolbar and that's where you can get it done along
with a number of other settings. Thanks also for your helpful website.
