Mass emailing

I am new to Mac and Entourage. I would like to send the same email to 200+ contacts and not have any receiver see the other contacts email address. Do I send an email to myself and blind copy everyone? If I am sending out 200, won't my email be placed in many junk mail boxes. How many can I send at a time? How do I create a group for future emails? Thanks.

If you are not in their Address Book then yes.

Entourage has no limit. ISPs do. The number of emails you can send depends
on the Host or your ISP. Some indicate no more than 100 emails in a batch
and no more than 500 in a day. Others limit it to 50 per message.

Get this script ,Split Recipients X. This script will replicate messages
into the number of copies needed to comply with an ISP's maximum number of
recipients allowed per outgoing message.

Create a new Group in the Address Book. Be sure the contacts are also in
your Address Book or you could loose these if you ever have a problem with
your database. Entourage doesn't handle exporting groups. When you add the
contact that's in a group, add a category named group: name you assigned to
group.

This way all groups will be sorted together and you can select view by
category: group: xxx to view just those contacts.

I have an email that needs to go out to 1200 people. My ISP at home is Cox, but my ISP at the office is Qwest and my Cox email is routed through Qwest while at the office and Cox at home. Regardless of the ISP, it failed to send to that group today. I tried to select smaller batches of emails in that Group and create multiple Groups. It would not let me drag over the emails and highlight multiple ones. I had to do it individually so that does not solve the problem. It is Entourage from 2004. How does that script work? Is it compatible with that version? Do you have to tell it how many maximum contacts that ISP will allow on outgoing messages? Sorry for the long-winded post, this just really frustrated me today!
