I want to either unify all of the subdocuments of a master document into one
document, or e-mail the master and subdocuments in such a way as the person I
e-mail it to can read the subdocuments?
Open the master document (or better, a copy), go into the Outline view, display
all the subdocument information.
Now, select a subdocument and you can use the "Remove subdocument" button in the
Master document toolbar to incorporate the subdocument into the Master document.
(Yeah, the button name is misleading.) Do this for each subdocument.
