Master Project File

Is there a way to insert subproject into a master file and have the
subproject file maintain it's formatting, i.e. Task bar colors?

Steve,
The subproject file maintain it's formatting... while you are looking at the
elementary file.
When you are looking at the master project (with the subprojects inclued)
you just see the formatting of the master project.

Thanks that's what I thought.....our campus is divided into 5 areas and the
facilities manager is a first time project user and wanted to know if we
could build a master file insert the project files and color code them per
area.

Hi,

That is not a problem Per se
You can create Bar styles in the Master depending on the project.
