meaning of icons in the "Message Status" column in list of e-mailmessages

For the life of me, I cannot seem to learn the meaning of the various icons
appearing in the "Message Status" column when examining a folder of e-mail
messages. The online help gives nothing useful when I search for "message
status" or "icons". Thanks in advance for the assistance.

I typed "message status icon" (no quotes, no final "s") into "Search
Entourage Help" and up came "Symbols in the Message list" ;-)

a long list of topics not including the one you specify. See the attached
window at

Even when I type "Symbols in the Message list", no useful topic comes up. In
fact, the sole resulting topic is "About reading messages".

Let me add that I'm using Office 2004 with the latest updates applied,
specifically Entourage 11.3.3 (061214), and my Mac is running 10.4.10. Maybe
those bits of data are relevant.

Same here - I get no such result.

Richard, are you sure you are searching in Entourage's built-in help?
