Meeting Request

I have a user that sent a meeting request to a group of people. In this
group, she as access to two people's inbox and calendar. The two people did
not received the e-mail notification for the meeting but we can see the
meeting as been added to the calendar. Why they did not received the e-mail
notification? Is it because the person who sent the meeting request as
permission to their inbox and calendar?
