We develop complicated spreadsheets with plenty of macros that call into xll function written in C++. We have found an interesting "feature" which I wondered if anyone knows about. If we have a spreadsheet which is taking up about 100MB of ram and when we minimise it, the memory allocation falls to about 4MB. We have found this behaviour with many different sheets
