Merge 2 PPT's to wider 1 with a wider page setup?

Hello!
I'm curious if its possible to take two standard ppts and create one
with a wider page setup.

Example: both PPT's are default 10*7.5. I'd like one (right) to be
inserted into a new PPT and
the second one (left) to be pasted to the left of 'right.' The NEW
page setup would be 20*7.5.

REASON: those new fandangled projectors are being used with a wide
aspect ratio (22.2 by 7.5) and one projector is being used rather than
two.

Possible? VBS??

Thanks in advance,
Mark B

You can make the page width 20x7.5. I found the easiest way to insert you
slides was to save them as images and reinsert them individually side by
side. If you use the insert slide from file they will all be inserted as new
slides and you will have to scale the width to 10 and then copy the second
presentation slides one by one and place them on the appropriate slide.
Never played with animations for each side of the presentation. that could
be a bag of worms

Michael,

Thanks for the response. That reeks of a for - next loop "saving as"
image and then importing into new PPT with the wider page setup.

I'll dig and let you know how it goes.

As far as the exporting goes, it is just a matter of saving your
presentation as images instead of a presentation. there are a couple of
addins that will insert your images for you.. Let us know how you make out.

Michael,

Can you recommend several add-ins without running the risk of
endorsement?

Thanks!
Mark
