Merge Ticket numbers to Business Card

Windows Vista Ultimate, Publisher 2007, Excel 2007.

I am attempting to add a sequential set of number to a business card layout
(10 to the page)

I have successfully attached the Excel file containing the numbers in this
format: No. 0001, No. 0002, etc.

I have a problem when I am "Prepare your publication" step 2 of 3. The
instructions read, to add recipient information to your publication, drag an
item below to a location on the page. The item shown is the column heading
in the Excel file. Nothing happens when I attempt to "drag" the item to the
single card publication.

Any thoughts?

I did. Still no effect on the drag...

Thank you Mary,

I have finally gotten it to work.

One of our other Trustees made up 600 Bingo tickets without numbering. My
job was to put numbers on them. As it turned out, the 30 weren't registered
correctly, but close enough.
