message delay

I have a client on Entourage who sent a 55MB attachment to another
client on the same Exchange server in my organization. The sent time
on the message was Wednesday morning. The recipient's displayed
received time on the message and attachment is Sunday. I understand
that large attachments can slow down the delivery time of messages,
but 4 days seems like an extraordinary delay. Anyone got any ideas why
this would happen and how to avoid it in the future? We do have an
attachment limit set, but the limit is greater than 55MB.

That sounds like an issue with the server to me...
