Has anyone figured out how to change the settings so replies, new messages, etc. show up in full screen instead of 1/2 screen? This just recently happened and I can't seem to change the settings.
Thanks

Are you talking about in Preview mode or when you actually open a message?

In the former, you can control how much of the screen is allocated to the
message by dragging one of the borders (e.g., above or left in Preview Below
mode) of the message to change its size.

In the latter case, open a message, use the resize box in the lower right
corner to set the window to the size you want, and close the window. The
next message you open will open in a window of the size you just set.

A screen shot sure would help. It;s hard to tell exactly what you mean
by "1/2 screen".

How To Post Screen Shots To Newsgroups

1. On your keyboard, press Command-Shift-4.
2. On your keyboard, press the space bar.
3. Click the window you want. A picture file will appear on the desktop.
4. Go to <http://imageshack.us/>.
5. Click Browse, then navigate to and select the picture file.
6. Click "host it!".
7. Paste the "Show image to friends" URL in a newsgroup message.

Screen shot only shows the top open window so it doesn't tell you much.
My messages used to open full screen. This just suddenly happened.

LOL. I've used Macs since a had a 512 in college.... long before most people had heard of them, and LONG before windows.
No, it opened full screen until today and then stopped. I just got used to it and wondered why it changed and won't got back.
It is possible the IT folks here at work could have pushed an upgrade out to the network... possibly that caused it?

Thanks anyway.

Nope. This is a known bug in Entourage 2008. You're actually lucky it
remembered the window size as long as it did. ; )

OK, thanks. I guess I'll wait for a fix. By then I'll be used to it.

try resetting the window to the size you want then immediately quitting
entourage.

I don't 'know', but I suspect that sometimes something confuses
entourage and it 'forgets' it has to write a new default window position
back to the prefs when it quits. Quiting immediately can help to get
that pref written
