Message Exceeds Maximum File Size

I sent a message a couple of weeks ago which was apparently too large
as the send keeps failing and appearing in the Error Log (Error
5.2.3). Unfortunately, i cant work out how to stop Entourage from
trying to Resend the message. I have changed schedules but every time
i send a new message, Entourage alos tries to send this old message
that is too big. I just want to cancel the send attempt of this
message as it is slowing down my entire system. Can anyone advise how
i can stop this iterative resend attempt ?

What works for me is to select the message in the Outbox and delete it (by
pressing the delete key). That will move it to the Deleted Items folder, and
Entourage will no longer try to send it.
