Message loses time after rule

I have Outlook 2003 setup with two accounts, an Exchange server and an IMAP account. I also setup a rule that moves any mail that arrives into my Exchange inbox to be moved over to the IMAP inbox and that any email I send be moved from the Outbox to the IMAP sent folder. Both rules are client side rules, applicable only on the single desktop. But after the rule is applied the time of arrival or sending of every message that moved has been set to 8 hours behind the correct time. I've checked my desktop time and server time and they seem to be correct as well as done all updates. Any ideas?
