How can I read messages which have been split by the sender? Neither
Entourage 2004 nor Apple's mail.app seem to do the trick.

(As the mail has been sent using Outlook Express 6 on Windows, I'm
*know* that Microsoft offers a way to read such mails on the Mac and
that I just haven't foud it yet! :-/)

Thanks
Stefan

Are you referring to newsgroup messages?

Entourage cannot combine and decode parts without the use of a helper app.
Otherwise, you need to consider using another news-reader.

Rosetta (shareware, $15) has the ability to combine/decode.

No, I just was being sarcastic. I *know* that Entourage doesn't offer
this ability, and I find it *unacceptable* that Microsoft distributes a
mail program which builds mails on Windows which their corresponding
(commercial!) mail program on Mac cannot read. But then, what am I
expecting from Microsoft?

I couldn't find this program. Actually, it seems even that the copmpany
which produced it is defunct. (Please correct me if I'm wrong and point
me to a source.) Frankly, I find it even more inacceptable that
Microsoft not only distributes Mail clients which are incompatible to
each other, but even can't point me to a third party solution which works.

(Side note: The Unix program uudeview works flawlessliy on OSX, but
stumbles over the numeration of the subject line produced by Outlook
Express.)

First, please keep in mind that these newsgroups are peer-to-peer. There
isn't much we can do. The best way is to send any feedback to Microsoft .

When working in Office, you can use the ³Send Feedback² option under the
Help menu in all of the Office applications.
