Message receipt

Is there an option in entourage where you can request a confirmation that
your message was received (opened) by the recipient?

I think the answer should be "yes, but not in a convenient way".
You get a receipt request for all mails that you send unless you create a
new separate account and send the mails you want to get a receipt from from
that account. This means (as far as I understand) having two sets of the
inbox folder and everything in the folder view.

There really should be an easier way.

No need to have two inboxes etc - the second account only needs to be a
'sending account' - set it up as a pop account, put nothing in the
'receiving mail server' boxes and the local mail server under the 'sending
mail server' info. You will get a warning that you can't send mail when you
close the account settings box, but this is just a warning - it will let you
create the send only account. Now, there is no 'second inbox', since this
account is only used for sending mail.
