do i get the email deleted?

Quit Entourage and hold shift key down when launching. This disables any
schedules. Next, under View in the Menu bar turn off Preview Pane.

View --> Preview Pane --> None

Now go to your Outbox folder and delete the message.

Whenever you have a crashing problem like this look for help on this page:

Sending a slide show is going to be a show stopper for any email client.
Most ISPs have a limit on the size of emails. You need to post them online.
Have you thought about getting a .Mac account?

Even something like <http://imageshack.us/> might suit your needs.

ImageShack can be used to upload images, flash files, and movies, and share
them with friends.

ImageShack is free.

If you have one you can set up galleries of photos (see, for example
gallery.mac.com/ed.kimball). You can allow (or deny) visitors the right to
download photos or add their own. The gallery allows viewers to see your
photos as a slideshow.

Flickr (http:www.flickr.com) from Yahoo! and picasaweb
(www.picasaweb.google.com) from Google are also free places to upload and
share images. Both can turn groups of photos into slideshows.

If you're creating "fancy" slideshow, with audio and transitions, the best
bet is probably to turn the slideshow into a QuickTime movie and upload that
to a web site. Then people can view it online or download it at their
convenience, and you don't have to send large e-mails.
