Message with JPEG attachment brakes down

When a message with a JPEG attachment is received, the message is
broken down into several messages, none of which contain any
attachments. The image binary seems to be the message text. Another
computer with seemingly the same configuration receives the same
messages without problems. Any ideas?

WinXP Pro
IE 6
Outlook 2002
