Messages being moved into Junk Folder

I have a client that has the latest version of Entourage (11.3.2) and
has issues with his email getting moved into the Junk Mail folder. The
client hooks up to an Exchange server (Kerio to be exact) and has quite
a large inbox (which shouldn't matter but worth mentioning). All Junk
Mail filters are off, all rules are disabled, and there are no Mailing
list Manager settings enabled. I'm pulling my hair out on this one!
All other clients in the office can receive mail fine without issue.
I've attempted to reinstall the app on his machine a couple of times,
install Entourage on a different box all together, and still the same
results. The server side settings are nothing different than any other
user and still the same result. Basically, 70% of any email that comes
into his inbox is directed towards the junk-mail folder. Any and all
suggestions are welcome at this point as I've run out of ideas.

Thanks in advance!

Brian

Let me also add that I've combed this board and have attempted
everything other than created a whole new profile on the mail server
for this user. This would be a last resort.

Thanks again,
Brian

All Junk
Mail filters are off, all rules are disabled, and there are no Mailing
list Manager settings enabled.

You can't disable rules as a global setting. It's probably a Mailing List
Manager (MLM) rule. It's very easy to set up a MLM rule by accident, when
you are marking a message as 'not junk'. The wording of that dialog is
ambiguous to say the least. Check if there is an MLM entry (look for MLM
entries under the tools menu) with the local Inbox as the target folder. You
can select to use the Mailing List Manager (MLM) rule or your custom rule.
Mailing List Manager rules run before your other rules.

Hello Diane,

Thanks for your quick response. Unfortunately, there are no Mailing
List Manager settings set, no Rules, and Junk Mail filtering is off.
Still not sure what it may be. Any more suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Brian

I'm not doubting you, but this sounds impossible. Create a new Identity in
Entourage and set to leave mail on server for testing. See if the mail is
downloaded correctly in the new Identity.

The next step is that fails is to test in a new User. Go to System
Preferences and create a new user.

If all this fails, it has to be coming from the server.

Thanks for the response Diane.

I'm not sure how to set an exchange account to leave mail on the
server, As i understand it, the only things you can do is restrict
the email from downloading more than say 1KB. If I'm missing something
please advise.

Thanks again in advance,
Brian

If it's an exchange account, mail will be left on server automatically.

It is also possible, with exchange accounts, that rules have been set up on
the server to move mail to sub-folders. This can't be set up with Entourage,
you need to log into the account with Outlook on a windows machine to change
these server-side rules.

Alternatively - does anyone have delegated access to the account? - this is
another thing possible with exchange accounts and is generally used to allow
another person to deal with the mail etc - i.e. A secretary is delegated
access to manage the bosses mailbox etc.
