Messages don't open unless

I'm using Entourage vrsion11.1.0.and OSX 10.3.9 It's been working
OK until this afternoon. When I click on a message, It doesn't open.
If I double click it will open up completely but I don't usually want
this. I did read this morning about holding down the command, shift and
o to have only unread messages show. That's nice but not if it is
causing this new problem.

This, from your description, appears to be working as designed. Clik once to
select, double click to open.

Once a message is selected, hitting 'Return' will also open it.

Alternatively you could turn on the Preview Pane (under the 'View' menu) to
display messages in a separate part of the window when they are selected.

Thanks, Barry. I did turn on the Preview Pane and that fixed it. It
must have been on all along and somehow I managed to turn it off. Still
getting used to Entourage having switched from the simpllicity of
Eudora. I'm so glad I found this group and I'm sure I will have
more questions.
