Messages from my IMAP in box automatically delete and move to "Folders on my computer"

The subject pretty much describes the problem:

I receive a message and it arrives and then is instantaneously deleted
and moved to the inbox on the "Folders on my computer".

Additionally, some random messages are in the same inbox -even though
they are older ones from my IMAP server.

This is making me a little nutty. Any ideas?

Check through your rules and MLM settings - if a rule loses it's destination
folder setting it defaults to the local inbox. If you have recently done a
database rebuild this is likely to be the cause.

Make sure that there are no rules set up in Tools > Rules under the "Rules
(IMAP)" tab that would move a message to the "Inbox (On My Computer)". In
some instances folder associations can be reset to the "On My Computer"
Inbox without warning. Also check the Mailing List Manager (Tools > Mailing
List Manager) for such entries.

Thanks for the responses, in both my Rules and Maling List Manager,
there are no items or rules. Is this what should be there?

That depends on whether or not you have created any!

Did you check under the 'IMAP' tab of the Rules dialog?

Yes I did check the IMAP tab, no rules. I didn't create any but my
question is how do get entourage to stop transferring my emails from
the IMAP to the inbox in my folders on my computers.

Thus, shouldn't everything be arriving ok with no rules or MLM
conflicts?

??

Without rules or MLM entries, everything _should_ be arriving in the IMAP
inbox, not the local inbox :(

Not sure where to go from here...

Try turning OFF the Junk Mail filter and see if that stops the messages
being redirected.
