Messages shown in Outlook don't show up in Entourage

Hi Folks,

Here is an odd one - occasionally I have mail messages that appear in
Outlook but will not appear in Entourage. I have Outlook running on VPC so I
can use it to schedule meetings since I still can't schedule resources in
Entourage (another problem for another day). Anyway, no matter what I do,
these mystery messages (which are legit pieces of email) never show up in
Entourage. Stranger still, if I reply to one of these messages, the reply
will not show up in Entourage's "Sent Items" box.

Now, how is this possible? Don't both of these programs work from the same
set of folders? How can a message appear in one client but not the other?

I think I found the problem - messages with a "+" in the subject will not
show up in Entourage, but they do appear in both Outlook and Outlook Web
Access. This has got to be a bug in Entourage. I will look for a workaround
- meantime, does anyone know if there IS a workaround that you can share
with me?

Are you saying any email containing the "+" symbol will not show up in
Entourage?
I will have to have a look at this...

Well, I just sent a bunch of emails to my account (exchange) and emails with
"+" in the subject all show up fine.
Do you maybe have a rule setup to do something with those emails?

Yes, messages with the "+" sign in them do not appear in my Entourage inbox
even though they exist in the Exchange inbox.

I'll take a look through my rules, as you have suggested. Maybe a reinstall
of Entourage will help.

For some time I have had this problem of mails not being received into
Entourage 2004 from Exchange Server 2003 both updated.

As this is my business link it is most frustrating and annoying that I have
to check with Outlook which is not always possible when I am travelling in
different countries.

I have checked the rules and it is also not the '+' sign that is the
problem.

Can anyone help.
