Messsage viewing problem

I'm hoping someone can explain this to me. Why is it that when I receive
messages that contain links, images and/ or pictures that I'm supposed to
click on to take me to a website or webpage, that they all show up as broken
links, images or pictures? If I open the "Mail" app for Mac and receive the
same messages, everything displays fine. Is there a fix around this or am i
stuck with this problem? Any help is greatly appreciated.

What version of Entourage are you using?

Entourage X has a preference to show remote images. Entourage 2004 has a
similar preference, but will only show images sent by people in your Address
Book.

What do you mean by "broken links"?

Sorry about that, I'm using version X. what i meant by "broken links"

(wasn't sure of the terminology) is that i get this little square box with an X
in the middle where an image or link is supposed to be. I have tried to set
up my HTML message preferences with no success. My messages still don't
show properly. Could you guide me through the steps to fix this problem?

Go to Entourage > Mail & News Preferences. Under the "Read" tab, check the
options to
ˆ Display complex HTML in messages
ˆ Allow network access when displaying complex HTML

Then, click the "View" tab, and check the option to
ˆ Show attached pictures and movies in messages

Click OK. If an internet connection is active and Entourage is set to work
online (Select Entourage > Work Online if it is not), the images should
display.

In Entourage 2004, one must click the "Download Pictures" link in the yellow
info bar.
