Microsoft Access Stops Responding, Importing Large HTML FILE

I'm trying to import a large HTML file that contains a
table. The file is about 41MB and has about 100,000 rows,
when I try to import the html file into microsoft access
xp, the application has a status of not responding in the
task manager. Is the applications just processing the
HTML file and thats why it's not responding? I can still
minimize and maximize the window.
