Microsoft Database Utility has encountered aproblem and needs to close

Using database utility to rebuild my database as I cannot open Entourage: "a problem with database and suggests to rebuild database."
Rebuild goes to step 5/5 and then the database utility application quits with error.

Would *really* like to recover my mail.

Yes, I encountered the SAME problem on Mar 3 2008 too!!!

Can some help???

This has been discussed before. I had the same problem and had to
create a new identity under 2008 before I could get the rebuilt to work.

Yes. it was a PITA to get Humpty-Dumpty back together again but it
is now working fine
