I accidentally cleaned out my Word program whilst going through my hard drive. All I see now when I try to open Word is a faded question mark over the top of the W.. it doesn't open and so I can't create or open anything that was made using Word. My entourage calendar has also been deleted and so has all my mailing lists and emails sent and received. I managed to retrieve four files Signatures, Database, Rules and Mailing list...they appear to have something in them but I can't seem to import them to entourage nor can I import them into Excel (they are named as Binary Documents).
Have I completely lost all this information and should I move on or is there a way... Can I retrieve all even if my trash has been emptied? Should I use an office salvage utility?

Move the four files you found to the following location: Hard
Drive/Users/Folder with the House/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2004
Identities/Main Identity The files that you find there are probably empty;
to be sure you don't overwrite anything, just move them out of there and
don't replace. After you did this restart your Mac and open Entourage. If
the files contain the lost mail you should have it back.
