Microsoft project 2000

We are a small furniture manufacturing plant and we need to track jobs. How
do I create a project plan for multiple jobs and all the jobs share the same
process namely Ruff cutting, Veneering, final cutting, Edge banding, CNC ,
sanding, finishing, assembly and shipping , some work may also be custom work
which is separate machining and people. The jobs may also vary in size for
example quantities.

Hi,

You need software for managing batch production processes. Project can
handle what you want, but only if you know it very well and are careful. One
unskilled user getting in to try and change something and a lot will get
messed up!!

Hi,

If you need help don't use Project! Using Project for production batch
processing requires very careful and controlled usage. Project is not
designed for production scheduling.

Assuming you are not a Project expert (based on your request for help) I
also assume non of your co-workers are either. I recommend you look into
batch production software.
