"Microsoft Project cannot find the file"

I just installed Microsoft Project 2002 on my Windows XP machine. I can open
existing .mpp files from our Novell file server just fine, but when I click
the save button it gives me this error:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Microsoft Project cannot find the file.

Try the following:

- Check your network connections, and then try again.
- Click OK, and then on the File menu, click Save As to save the file with a
different name or to a different location.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Project 2002 is up to date with SP1 and all the latest updates from
Microsoft. I have a Windows 2000 machine with exactly the same Project 2002
and all the updates and it does not experience this problem.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Louie

I am also having this same issue with Microsoft Project 2003 SP2 on my
Windows XP SP2 machine. The file is stored on an Oracle Content Services
workspace (using WebDav). I don't have is problem with Powerpoint, Word,
Excel, or Visio.
Not sure if that helps any.

Actually I found the solution to this problem. I was using Novell client
v4.90 when I was experiencing the problem. I upgraded to the latest v4.91
SP2 and that fixed it.
