Microsoft Usenet Server shut down

Today I was unable to access it so I configured access through my ISP. Its a
shame that MS cant afford a Usenet server. I thought they were rich.

They had one. They decided to turn it off and concentrate on their
web-based solution.
Their forum is on Mactopia exclusively now.

So are we to use Mactopia instead of Google groups for Entourage now.

That's what MS would like.
Not sure how many of the long time users of these groups will come here
vs Mactopia in the future though.
