I am trying to open Journal in my contacts file and cannot understand the
Help. It says to open up an individual contact, go to Activities and click
on Create. there is no Create in my Outlook. Still would like to know how I
can easily keep records of conversations and communications with my client
base in Contacts.

Your post in unclear. There is no Journal in Contacts, it is a separate
folder from your contacts folder.

From where are you opening your contact? From Word (as your subject
suggests) by using the select recipients button from the Mailings option?

Please post the steps you are using to access the Activities tab.

Don't QUITE know why you have Word on the subject.....
In Outlook 2007, open a Contact, click on Activities. The page should auto
populate with the activities....
