MIME format problems

I feel very stupid asking this question, but I am going for it anyway. I
have tried several things and nothing works.

Basically, almost everytime I send an email it comes through in ³MIME
format² and is full of scrabble. You can usually find the clear version of
the text at the bottom of the email. Sadly, some people who receive my email
don¹t bother.

I run a small business and I get many, many complaints that people cannot
read my email because of this MIME format. What can I do to make my email
more readable.

You haven't mentioned which version of Entourage your using so I'll
suggest you at least make sure that Format --> Character Set is set to
Automatic.

Also, you're most likely to have 100% success if you send in Plain text
rather than HTML.
