How can I get a clear mini calendar in my desktop? If I am asking to wrong
discussion group, my apologies.

If you have Vista then there is a sidebar with a mini-calendar. Can't
comment on XP. In Vista, in the Start box, write 'Sidebar' and the item
appears top left of the window. Click on it.
