Minimizing Outlook to systray

Open the outlook program then right-click the outlook icon in the
notification area. Click on the shortcut menu, select hide when minimized.

What version of Outlook are you using? Just wondering since that's been
built-in feature since OL2003

Is it possible to minimize Outlook to the systray to free up the taskbar

Outlook 2003 and 2007 allow that natively. Outlok 2002 allows it with a
registry change.
