When opening the Microsoft Project .mpp file, we receive an error message
that states the following:

"The paste operation cannot be completed."

When we click ok the Resource Names are no longer present. What is causing
this problem and how can it be repaired?

Janice,
I sounds like the last operation you attempted was to paste some
resource names either from one place in the Project file to another or
from another application (e.g. Excel) into Project. It would help to
have more information on what you were trying to do. Then perhaps we can
be of more assistance.

Thank you John, I appreciate your quick response.

We were thinking that the corruption had something to do with the fact that
the file was password protected. However, we decided to go back in and
re-create the file.
