Mirrored "image.pdf" file created when attaching PDFs to outgoing email?

Hello,
When I attach a PDF to an email through Entourage, the recipient(s) of
the email get TWO attached PDFs. The first PDF is the original attached
PDF, and the second is a PDF called "image.pdf" which is an exact
duplicate of the PDF (other than the name). Does anyone know why/how
this is happening? It's very confusing to our clients and email message
balloon in size as a result of the duplication of the PDF (ie. an email
with a 3MB attachment becomes 6MB on the client end). This is happening
to clients at different companies, and only when sent from computer
running Entourage (not happening when sending from mail.app).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Regards,
Kristin.

How are you attaching the file? Do you drag it to the message window of an
HTML message?

Try using the 'attach' button or menu command and see if that solves the
problem. Alternatively, drag the pdf file to the file attachment box, not to
the message area.
