Missing Drag and Drop Feature?

Powerpoint 2000 allowed for a drag and drop feature with text and titles that
were not placed correctly into the "Click Here to Add Text" areas. That
feature seems to be disabled in Powerpoint 2003. Is this true or is there a
way to turn this feature on/off?

You are correct that the "feature" was removed. Copy and paste can be used
instead, but drag and drop does not do the trick in PowerPoint 2002 or 2003.

Can I suggest that it be added back in within a Service Pack release? 90% of
what my teammates and I do is reformat presentations sent to us from
Powerpoint "challenged" individuals. That feature made our lives so much
easier.
