Missing emails

When I set up my Entourage to receive my emails from my verizon account, it did not import all of my emails. I am missing about 400 emails. Where could they have gone?

It's possible they did not import. If you know some specifics about one of
the messages you can do a Spotlight search for them. The Spotlight search is
the top right search box in Entourage 2008.
