missing emails

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

Hi,
When I send an email, instead of going into the sent folder it goes into the deleted folder. For a long time i couldn't find them, and they were being deleted. Now, I have discovered they just automatically go to the deleted foler. Any suggestions? I have not set up any rules at all.

Check the Mailing List Manager. It runs before Rules.
