MIssing event

On occasion, I have an event on the Exchange server that I can see for
OWA or from Outlook on a Windows machine, but not from Entourage. I
have tried quitting and re-starting Entourage and forcing
synchronization of the calendar, with no effect.

I'm not sure what these messages have in common, though they might be
ones that my secretary has accepted on my behalf.

Anyone recognize this? Known bug? If so, under what circumstances does
it appear?

Thanks.

TR,

I have the exact same problem and I think that your analsys is correct.
My admin assistant is setup as a delegate for my calendar and
adds/deletes certain meetings for me. It seems that the meetings she
organizes and modifies do not make it to Entourage. I'm running
Entourage 11.2.3 on Mac OS X 10.4.6 connecting to Exchange 2003 SP1 on
Windows Server 2003 SP1.

This bug is essentially fatal for me as I live by my Exchange calendar
(it's sad, I know) and if I can't have the most current and correct
information this is goofy.

I'd love to hear from MIcrosoft on this. My organization is quite
large, uses Exchange extensively and we'd love to get this problem
solved.

I think these missing events are only a subset of the ones handled by
my assistant. The event in question was "organized" by Assistant A "on
behalf of" Manager A and then accepted by Assistant B on behalf of
Manager B.

I know that Assistant B often accepts meetings that appear fine on
Manager B's (yeah, that's me) calendar. Now I'm starting to wonder if
the meetings that do appear are organized by people who are not acting
as a proxy for someone else.

I need to do some more digging on my end. One issue that we have is
that I use multiple applications to connect to Exchange: Entourage and
OWA on my Mac and Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003 on various PCs at work.
I'm wondering if the mixture of application access has somehow created
inconsistencies in certain events (for instance if I accept an event
organized by my assistant in OWA) that's preventing Entourage for
reading them.

Microsoft, please chime in on this! Are there any debugging tools that
I could use to log the output of the Entourage to Exchange calendar
synchronization? I'd be happy to run them and send the output.

For what it is worth, I just had two events disappear and tried
something that should have been obvious. I emptied the cache for the
calendar, and when the calendar synchronized again, the events were
back.

Not a tremendous amount of help, but a data point in understanding what
is going on.

I've ran into this 4 or 5 times. The AA adds a calendar entry, yet
it's only visable from outlook or exchange web access, it dosn't show
up in entourage. I'll be opening a ticket with microsoft regarding
this issue. If I find anything out I'll post it here.

Hello [email protected],

is there any new status regarding this problem?

One of my customers has the same problem. Clearing the cache didn't help.
But rebuilding the complete database helped.
