Missing "more" link in month view

I've started upgrading some faculty to Office SP2 with some success.
I've run into a rather odd issue with month view on the exchange.
Normally where there are more events then can be displayed in a day
(while in month view -- about 7+ events), there is a little more link
in the lower right-hand corner of the day. Since upgrading to SP2 we
have a calendar that will refuse to display the more link on certain
days. So, some days with a bunch of appointments have the more links
and others don't. I haven't been able to figure out why this happens
or how to fix it.

I tried deleting all of the appointments on a day with the missing
"more" link and adding them again, but that doesn't help.

Is anyone also experiencing this and/or have any thoughts?
